Countdown

10...9...8...7...

Our family is doing the countdown these days...a countdown to going back to our home in Uganda.  It seems that anytime we travel from the U.S. to Uganda or vice versa we are filled with a mixture of emotions.  We have people we love in both places, and there are aspects of each place that feel like home to us.  There are things from the U.S. that we miss while we are in Uganda, and things from Uganda that we miss while we are in the U.S.  When we fly back to Uganda in a week, we will be leaving many of our friends and family that are so dear to us, but at the same time we will be headed to our church and community and coworkers that have become like family to us as well.  

We have so enjoyed the last seven months here in the U.S. as we have visited friends and family.  Even though it has required a lot of traveling (over 16,000 miles!), we are thankful for the time spent with each of you.  Spending time with people we know and love has been a source of rest for us as a family.  

Please pray for us as we travel next week, as we transition our family from one culture to another, and as we reintegrate ourselves back into life at Musana Camps.  We will try to be more diligent at updating this blog!  :)
