As Nathan said, his countdown to the big 3-0 is underway. We celebrated his 29th birthday this Saturday and had a fairly relaxing day despite the fact that there was a group here at camp and a wedding going on in the local community. Thankfully, others on staff were able to handle most of the things going on for the day so that Nathan could have some time to rest, play in the dirt, and eat some good food! His birthday meal included T-bone steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn, homemade rolls, and a peach pie with homemade ice cream. We were all hurting by the end of the day from all of the food! So, even though he is now facing the prospect of turning 30, he at least started his countdown with a satisfied tummy!
