We celebrated Hannah's birthday on Tuesday. It is hard to believe that our little girl is already 6 years old! Every year at Christmas, I remember the year that we were waiting for her to be born, playing games and enduring the heat of our first dry season in Uganda. I remember being so thankful on Christmas day that the weather was unseasonably cool and cloudy. For an overdue pregnant woman, that is a big deal!
And now, Hannah is six years old, reading chapter books, helping me cook, and making beautiful creations. We are so thankful for Hannah, her faith in the Lord and her desire to help people, and we pray every day that she will continue to grow into a godly young woman.
