Moving to town

Preparing a grasshopper snack!
Last week we moved into Kampala to await the birth of our next little one.  Our housing situation in town has been a process in itself of trusting God our Father to provide for us.  We pursued several different contacts, received many "no's", and even a "yes" that turned into a "no."  We even changed the place we were going to stay the day before we came to town because a better offer came up!  Driving into the compound of the house where we were to stay for the first few weeks, it was immediately apparent how God had provided the perfect place for us to spend our first bit of time here. The house has plenty of room for all of us and it is located on a nice compound with lots of playground equipment for the kids.  We have enjoyed having more time as a family and a generally more restful pace during the last eight days or so.

On Monday, we were excited to go to Entebbe to pick up Nathan's parents for a visit.  We only found out a few weeks ago that they would be coming, which has made the surprise even more special.  Once again, God has provided for us in bringing family to stay with us during this time.

Tomorrow we will be moving to a different house in town as the family that owns this house is returning from their holiday, but we know that God is continually providing for us in big and little ways.  We continue to trust Him for His perfect plan in the coming days!
