Kampala

Last week we "moved" to Kampala to await the arrival of baby #3.  On the way, we thought we might just go straight to the hospital because Kendra was having some contractions, but by the time we drove into town they had started to subside.  We are renting one half of a duplex on the west side of town.  Each half has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it feels huge for our small family.  Our neighbors are fellow New Hope staff, and we have enjoyed catching up with them while we are here.

On Sunday, we picked up Kendra's sister, Erin, from the airport.  We have all loved having her here in our own ways, whether it's as a play-mate or an extra set of hands or a "kindred spirit," and we are glad that she's here for an extended period of time and not just a short visit.  One thing that John has been excited about is that we get to go on an airplane with her in December instead of just taking her back to the airport and watching her leave.  She is definitely one of our answers to prayer!
