Graduation

We are finished!! Friday we celebrated our completion of New Hope's Institute of Childcare and Family, the training program that we have been in for the last five months of being in Uganda. While it was hard for us to be in class every day and to not be at the camp, we enjoyed the teaching we received and can definitely see God's plan of growth for us during the time we have been here. We were challenged in our relationship with God as we discussed the glory of God, the Fatherhood of God, and our adoption into God's family. We were also challenged in our relationships with others as we formed visions for Biblical manhood, womanhood, marriage, family, and singleness.

As we went through the course, we were also able to form some good friendships with other couples on staff at New Hope. It was encouraging to hear their hearts and passions for the work that God is doing here in Uganda and to see the growth that occurred in them as well during the course. We will definitely miss spending so much time with them, but we are so thankful for these foundational truths and relationships God has brought to us as we begin serving Him here in Uganda.
