The first leg of our long journey has been spent in Meade, KS with our friends in the farming community. The kids have enjoyed riding on John Deere tractors and combines, drinking from John Deere cups, and sleeping under John Deere blankets. In fact, John asked us one day why we didn't name him John Deere Jackson! They have also enjoyed many other things about being here such as playing in the sand and riding ATV's and motorcycles. It has been great to see friends that we haven't seen for several years and be part of their lives for a little bit. We have really enjoyed catching up with people here and sharing about the past few years in Uganda for us. It is great to see the way God uses different people in different places all for the purpose of furthering His kingdom.
